The Book of Romans seeks to reveal our inability to make things right without God. In the first chapter, Paul reveals what happens when God turns us over to the desires of our own hearts. As we live to fulfil these desires, it creates a vacuum we are unable to fulfil. Just at the right time when were were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
