In our study of the spirit, soul and body, we will learn from the Word of God that the spirit is not the soul and the soul is not the body but all three are different and separate from one another each having the appearance of the body.

The apostle Paul taught in his theology of salvation, that faith without works will save a sinner from death and grant unto them eternal life. He further condemns any attempt of adding works into the equation of having eternal life, for no Mosaic Law can be added to save a person neither can a work like water baptism be added to save a person.
