Colossians 3:15-17
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Our God is not a natural God, but a supernatural God. The kingdom of God is not a natural Kingdom, but a supernatural kingdom. The church is not a natural church but a supernatural church because even the gates of hell will not prevail in the church of the Living God. The people of God are not natural people but supernatural people, full of thanks.
Jesus Christ is our perfect example of thankfulness. When he multiplies the loaves of bread, he first looked to heaven and thanked God for the bread.
