God’s forgiveness is an expression of His love for us. He offers it to all who confess their rebelliousness and accept His gift of new life through His son, Jesus Christ.

Self-forgiveness, however; is often more difficult. God forgives and forgets our sin as soon as we confess it, the Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in love. (Psalm 103:8-12)
